Martin & Taylor is a Memphis-based band, founded in early 2002. We have evolved from an acoustic duo to a 4-piece band, but continue to perform as an acoustic duo/trio for some events.
Martin & Taylor was founded by Joey Cartwright and Larry Willis. Alan Collier was added to form the acoustic trio in early 2003. Rob Meltzer completed the rhythm section in early 2009, evolving Martin & Taylor from an acoustic to full rock band. Martin & Taylor perform music spanning from early 1960 through 2008. The artist list ranges from The Doors to 3 Doors Down, but individual influences range from classic and modern rock to metal and jazz artists.
